Marie Featured on African Visionary Fellowship Video

Marie Da Silva, the Jacaranda School’s Founder and a 2019 Segal Family Foundation African Visionary Fellow, was featured in the above video describing the fellowship. Begun in 2017, the Segal Family Foundation African Visionary Fellowship provides capacity building, designed for and by local visionaries. Fellows receive mentorship, exposure, and the support of a community of like-minded change-makers. Programs like this create much needed visibility for African social entrepreneurs.

This video is a wonderful snapshot of the impact of the fellowship. As Marie states in the video, “what I have learned from the conferences are things that are very needed and I wish I had them in the beginning.”
