National exams season has started in Malawi for all primary and secondary school children across the country. Our Standard 8 children (pictured here in their classroom with their exams IDs) wrote their end of primary school national exams early September (PSLCE: Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education); Form 2 students (grade 10) are currently writing the Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) national exams - and the Form 4 students (grade 12) the Malawi School Certificate of Education national exams from end of October.

Jacaranda Secondary School has been certified as a center for exams by Malawi Ministry of Education, so our students write their national exams in their own school - together with students from several other schools in our area.

Due to the COVID pandemic, the school calendar was changed. It used to run from September to July. It is now running from January to November. We are thus in the last term of the 2021 school year, which will end on November 19. Next year school calendar will start first week of January 2022.

We wish our children all the best for their national examinations!
