The Jacaranda Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and donations are tax-deductible in the U.S. (Tax ID #: 760774306).

With our emphasis on rigorous accountability and impact, you can trust us to make the best possible use of your gift.

Here are examples of what your donations can fund:

  • $25 provides education, nutrition and medical care to a child for a month.

  • $50 pays for a school desk for two children.

  • $100 funds 3 bags of 50kg of maize.

  • $200 provides 20 textbooks for our secondary school students.

  • $350 is the monthly salary of a teacher at Jacaranda School.

  • $500 provides exercise books to our 400 primary and secondary school children for a term.

  • $1,000 sends a Jacaranda School graduate to technical college for a year.

  • $2,000 sends a Jacaranda School graduate to university in Malawi for a year.

  • $5,000 funds a library for thousands of children in a primary school in Malawi.
